Hey, It Worked For Karyn

According to the National Debt Clock as of today we, the people, owe $8,372,249,065,040.67. This breaks down to $28,009.18 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. of A, or about the price of a loaded Honda Accord.
Personally, I'd be willing to cut a check in exchange for the U.S. agreeing to take a personal finance-management course,* but after that I don't want to hear shit- your are cut off.

I owe a bit less than 20k. It's comforting to know that I am below average in this respect, but it's a little scary to think about the mortgages that are looming overhead.

The "debt" owed was something your Grandfather would hammer into his children as soon as they could add. Believe me at 8, it's scary as Hell! to know your carrying this kind of nut! As you grow older though, you realize you can pass it on to you children, after all, that's what they are for, to make your mental health easier. Anyway its the damn Govt! After 40 years of working for em, I know it will never get better.

I should apolologize for the fiscal tsunami I am leaving you with, but then , why should I , no one ever apologized to me.

Now where's my damn drink ?
