PARK(ing)
I may not know art, but I know what I like.
"One of the more critical issues facing outdoor urban human habitat is the increasing paucity of space for humans to rest, relax, or just do nothing... Feeding the meter of a parking space enables one to rent precious downtown real estate, typically on a 1/2 hour to 2 hour basis. What is the range of possible occupancy activities for this short-term lease?"

Remixing the landscape through "PARK(ing)." This is potentially funny as hell. A piece of the city reclaimed from that expression of modern status and busyness-the car-solely to allow people to relax, chill out, and be human. For a fee. Which is fed into a parking-excuse me-PARK(ing) meter. For anywhere from 1/2 hour to 2 hours. Or maybe I'm wrong in implying some sort of noble underpinning. I mean hey, if San Francisco is indeed suffering a paucity of "chill out" space, converting parking spaces into PARK(ing) spaces could concievably be a profitable solution to a need. It sounds like something out of a science fiction story. You know, the more "literary" types that are usually some sort of satire and which tend to be called "speculative fiction" (presumably to appeal to the demographic that hasn't memorized the thrust-to-weight ratio of a Veritech fighter). If nothing else, it would be funny to see the reaction of someone (YOU in particular, Jason) pulling up next to an occupied PARK(ing) space...
